Meet the New Boss, Just as Unknown as the Old Boss

_x000D_

Newly elected Senators joined the ASPC Senate meeting last week, marking their monumental first step on a journey to maybe get something done by next year. The new senators include Sophomore Class President Reina Buenconsejo, Freshman Class President Nico Kass, North Campus Repres—you know what, you probably don’t care anyway seeing as you didn’t vote.

Hakuna Metate: It Means No Funding

_x000D_

During the meeting, the Senate voted to effectively withdraw ASPC funding from the Metate, Pomona College’s yearbook. Not Sure if Snack is Bad or It’s Still Free Food

[Insert Fry meme here] Senators still concerned with the state of Snack this year bounced around the idea of hosting an open forum for students to voice their opinions and speak to administrators about what they think Snack should be. They agreed to further pursue the idea because past precedent has shown the effectiveness of open forums in terms of communicating with the administration. Like that open forum about those people who got fired last year, remember? They all got hired again after that one and we saw a big increase in administrative transparency, right? I can’t remember, I think I went to Pub that night instead.
