CMS’ women’s soccer team (5-1-1, 1-1 SCIAC) opened SCIAC play Saturday with a 2-0 win over La Verne, in which Lauryn Jeans CM ’22 and Taylor Arakaki SC ’23 netted goals. Wednesday brought the Athenas their first loss of conference play, with Occidental coming from behind to score two goals less than a minute apart, making for a 2-1 loss.
