The Athenas (25-3, 15-1 SCIAC) clinched a suspenseful 3-2 victory at La Verne on Nov. 2 and followed up Thursday night with a 3-1 win over the same opponent in the SCIAC semifinal. The first win saw setter/right-side hitter Phoebe Madsen CM ’20 notch her second consecutive triple-double and Amanda Walker SC ’20 lead offensively with 15 kills. Walker also led the semifinals match with 14 kills.
