The Athenas’ volleyball team (11-2, 2-0 SCIAC) left Redlands on Friday with a 3-0 win and an encouraging start to conference play. The team was led offensively by right side hitter Amanda Walker SC ’20, who had 14 kills. Their Tuesday match against La Verne went to four sets, but the Athenas came out on top 3-1.
