LAX to end curbside pick-ups for Uber, Lyft and taxis

Students coming back to Claremont via Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) after Thanksgiving break will have to jump through additional hoops before they can get on the road back to campus. In an effort to mitigate increased traffic due to various projects, LAX is ending curbside pick-ups for Ubers, Lyfts and taxis Oct. 29, according to a news release from LAX and the Los Angeles Times.
