P-P water polo keeps perfect record alive with overtime win against CMS
Both Pomona-Pitzer (P-P) and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) men’s water polo entered their first Sixth Street game of the year undefeated. However, P-P came out on top with a thrilling overtime victory, defeating the Stags 10-9. Zach Whitfield PO ’28 scored the game-tying goal to send the Hens to overtime.
CMS volleyball continues win streak in four set win against P-P
On Saturday Oct. 11, Sixth Street was quiet — except inside Voelkel Gymnasium. The Athenas stormed into Sagehen territory and left with their fourth straight victory. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) volleyball came out hot, and when the Sagehens flared back to life in the second set, the Athenas slammed the door shut.
