From early morning alarms and two daily practices, Pomona-Pitzer (P-P) swim and dive are gearing up for another season of maximum intensity. For the men’s team, the preparation is not only an attempt to end a six-year drought since their last SCIAC championship, but also to make the journey worthwhile.

Sagehens surge through storm to claim Sixth Street trophy
On Sept. 27, Sixth Street was painted blue and orange as the Pomona-Pitzer (P-P) football team defeated the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) Stags 25-17. In this year’s edition of the Sixth Street Rivalry, the Sagehens ended their two-season losing streak against the Stags. For Kalani Pickett PO ’26, who caught both a touchdown and a two-point conversion, Saturday’s rivalry game was extra special.
