Pomona First-Generation Programs Coordinator To Become Full Time Position
Pomona College will be making its First-Generation Programs Coordinator position a full-time one, according to ASPC minutes from Feb. 20.
The position was created in July 2016 to coordinate events and support for first-generation and low income students at college. Maria Melendrez PZ ’16 has served in the position since it was created.
Pitzer Names New VP For College Advancement
Pitzer College named Neil Macready as its new vice president for college advancement in an announcement by President Melvin Oliver Feb. 26.
Macready has significant experience in college fundraising, including overseeing a $750 million University of Southern California fundraising campaign, according to a Pitzer press release. Macready previously worked in a similar capacity at the University of Redlands.
